Switching modes
Choose the mode per position, and cross over mid-trade.
Status
Pre-launch — Moorix is not live yet. Parameters are illustrative and tunable at launch.
Per position
Mode is chosen per position. One account can hold defined-risk and classic positions side by side.
Mid-trade
You can switch a position's mode while it's open, including crossing from Classic to Defined-Risk mid-trade. Same book, same vault; the position doesn't have to be closed and reopened elsewhere.
A typical reason: a classic position runs into volatility and you'd rather cap your loss at your margin than risk a liquidation.
